This 19th century country house, situated in the Alcanar Oasis in the south of Tarragona, was used by Alfonso XII as a summer retreat.

Citrus farms fill the landscape, and the port of Cases d'Alcanar is an important source of fresh fish.
The chapel in Remei and the Maestrazgo mountains are also well worth a visit.
